Size does matter

Today conventional flatscreens can be replaced by very large LED displays that can be configured specifically and cover many square meters. So we take a given location and fit a display into it, that can be mounted and seen from all angles and from even the most remote position.

Nice, but where the schedule content kicks in? It should be the LOCATION SPACE and the PREFERRED CONTENT that together determines both screen size and resolution. And the good news is that today we are free to choose. High definition is maybe not the right format for a large LED wall.

Beside resolution issues, the speed of recording and the alterations in the schedule must diminish when the screen size is bigger. Small screens can be faster moving than big screens.

1) If the screen is too big, the audience nearby cannot oversee, or gets daisy, if the screen is too small, the audience in the back will not be reached, or gets a headache.

2) Often more smaller screens make more impact than one big screen.

3) The bigger the screen, the more simplicity is required in the content.

4) The smaller the audience, the smaller the screen.
